Spituk To Stok

Short description: A classical trek into the Stok range starting from Spituk monastery. There are several villages on the way and one crosses only one pass, the Stok La. The longer option of 4/5 days includes the ascent to a fantastic panoramic viewpoint above the Ganda La pass, at 5000m.

Spituk Stok Trek
Spituk Stok trek can be started either from Spituk or Stok village. This is the only trek around Leh which is easily accessible to the starting and finishing point.

Day 01.
Delhi to Leh[flight]

Day 02.
Leh to shey thiksay hemis stok monasteries[Jeep]

Day 03.
Leh to Spituk to Zingchen

Day 04.
Zingchen to Rumbak

Day 05.
Rumbak to Leh via Stok via Stokla (4800m) 5-6 hrs.
Leave Rumbak village for Stok and the ascend starts after an hours walk towards east. The zig zg and steep trail takes you to Stok La (4800m). Walk down until you reach at river following from Stok Kangri and walk northward along the river. The Stok village is reached after another two hours.stok to leh by jeep.

Leh to lamayuru[jeep]

Day 07.
Lamayuru to leh [jeep]

Day 08.
Leh shoping or rafting.

Day 09.
Leh one extra rest day.
